EUROPEAN NETWORK ON STREET CHILDREN WORLDWIDE: Executive Director

The European Network on Street Children Worldwide (ENSCW) is a Brussels
based network
organisation established in 1995 with the goal of becoming a worldwide
movement of concern and
action for street children. The ENSCW is currently undergoing a
transition into a new
organisation that will focus on the mobilisation and participation of
institutional and civil
actors for addressing the issue of street children. Through its network
the ENSCW will strive
for the realisation of the fundamental rights of street children
worldwide. In addition the
ENSCW will support efforts to research and address the fundamental
causes underlying this
social phenomenon.

The ENSCW is presently recruiting an Executive Director to lead the
organisation through the
transition and to develop, manage and implement its new strategy and
work plan for the coming
years. The Executive Director will report to the Board. An Advisory
Council will assist the
Executive Director in developing appropriate and innovative policies and
strategies. The ENSCW
has two professional staff on its team who will assist the Executive
Director in his/her tasks.
