Youth Initiative is an NGO whose mission is the promotion of universal
human rights among young people of Serbia and Montenegro.
Aims and Goals:
.	Assistance to the victims of human rights violations
.	Assistance to the victims of trafficking
.	Assistance to the marginalized and minority groups
.	Promotion of youth participation in the process of
reconciliation and facing the past
.	Organizing the round tables, awareness raising campaigns,
trainings and seminars

Youth Initiative is a new formed NGO which members are very well known
human rights activists from women's organizations and human rights
NGO's. Up to now activists of the Youth Initiative were working on the
Balkan region engaged on the issues such as: 

Women's rights issues (gender based violence and  trafficking in women
-prevention and education, victim assistance through the national
referral mechanism, awareness raising campaigns, networking, trainings,
regional cooperation, peer education)
Reconciliation( youth camps Serbia-Kosovo, regional visits to the
victims of human rights violations, round tables-facing the past
Serbia-Kosovo, public debates and implementation strategies for youth
participation in dealing with the past)
Minority rights (organizing seminars, debates, monitoring of the
implementation of conventions, research and reports for minority rights,
research and monitoring for torture, advocacy and lobbying in human
rights and minority issues, discrimination based of sex, ethnic origin,
religion, race, sexual orientation, disability..etc)
