[FPSPACE] New EORSAT soon?

With today's retirement of Cosmos 2405 (as it dropped perigee to hasten orbital decay), maybe we should be looking out for a new EORSAT in the next 2-3 months? Probably too much to expect that a replacement will be launched within the next week or two.

There weren't many Tsyklon-M launchers remaining a few years ago, so I wonder how soon the supply will run out and what the replacement launch vehicle will be if the programme continues. The Dnepr perhaps??

In the meantime, there is now the wait to see whether Cosmos 2405 will fragment before it decays from orbit.

PERSONAL PHILOSOPHY

(1) The only way to comprehend the deeds and utterances of
politicians is with the basic knowledge that they had their brains
surgically removed before they were allowed to enter politics: no
counter-examples to disprove this theory are known.

(2) Why should the Universe be comprehensible to human beings ?

Coincidence by Martin Plimmer and Brian King, page 28.
